Faktis is a cooperative think tank and research collective. We investigate questions in policy, economics, and governance — not to score points, but to find out what actually works.

What we do

We dig into real-world questions: which policies have worked, under what conditions, and why. We follow the evidence where it leads and publish what we find — clearly, with sources, and in plain language. No ideology, no party line.

Our publications are freely accessible. We believe that good research should be readable by anyone with a stake in the outcome — not just academics or policymakers.

How we work

Faktis is structured as a cooperative. Members set the research agenda, share findings, and hold each other accountable to one standard: is it true, and is it useful?

We are in our founding phase. A small group of people is shaping what this becomes. If you want to be part of that, you can sign up as a founding member on the homepage.

What we are not

Faktis is not a lobbying organisation. We do not work to advance a political programme. We do not accept commissions that require a predetermined conclusion. Our work is only useful if it is honest.
